HEC University Rankings
Today I am going to post about the most demanding post regarding education, almost every student wants to know what is the standard/position of any particular university in the market. So while going through HEC (Higher Education Commission) website. I found the following list of HEC Ranking the university of Pakistan.
You can find the list of HEC Recognized Universities and Degree Awarding Institutions here.
The Rankings are published with the following key features:
- Universities and Degree Awarding Institutes awarded Charters after 2001 have been excluded from this Ranking
- Private Sector Universities currently not meeting minimum Cabinet Criteria for Establishment of Universities (i.e. those in Categories Y & Z) are not included in the Ranking
- Universities/Institutes imparting education via Distance Learning are excluded
- The Rankings are based on data collected on the following key issues with relative weightages for each provided respectively: Students (17%), Facilities (15%), Finances (15%), Faculty (27%) and Research (26%).

what will the ranking of virtual university of pakistan
you can check it manually; according to departments (mgt sciences, maths, etc etc)
I like this. This is very informational when someone want to take the admission in their field then he/she get valuable information for this.

NED IS THE BEST UNIVERSITY
[...] I remember that time which I was graduated from Punjab University and the for masters I want to get admission in some good university of Pakistan. At that time I had very few options and from which I’ve decided to go for COMSATS Islamabad. I know most of the students first search online to get information about the Institution and then apply. Here I am solving the problem of the students, According to Higher Education Commission of Pakistan there are 130 Universities in Pakistan of which 71 are public universities and 59 are private universities. Here is the list of Universities in Pakistan with their URL (Web Sites) and lists only those universities that are recognised by the Higher Education Commission of Pakistan. [...]

WHAT’S THE RANKING OF ”INDUS INSTITUE OF HIGHER EDUCATION”.
Please find here below the link for verification of VU by HEC on the website Wikipedia. Maybe anyone can oppose other sources but what about HEC and Wiki Pedia? Aren’t these reliable resources. Here is:

VU or Govt. is not gonna mad that they are running this University for 7 or 8 years without any recognitiion. VU is recognized by HEC and any Degree which is recognized by HEC cannot be challenge anywhere in the World. That Degree or University is valid throughout the world. No more comments above and over it….
Don’t make your own blogs or websites to discourage others. Do critics but with arguments and solid proves like HEC or Wikipedia. Don’t make your own proves. Truth is that among top first 500 universities in the world, there is no Pakistani university either it is LUMS, FAST, NUST, NED, UET, Punjab or whatever.
Inplace of critics we should think how we can improve….to make our nation better and strong.
