Kerry-Lugar Bill – The hidden truth, Is Pakistan for sale?

Kerry-Lugar bill (KLB) is the most discussed and hot issue these days. According to KLB, USA would give Pakistan grant of 1.5 billion US Dollars annually, upon doing their satisfaction of Pakistan’s character and attitude in five different departments. The grant would be given in installments once the US Department of State is satisfied with Pakistan on those five departments and then issues the NOC to the US Ministry of Home Affairs (US Homeland Security, as it is known in the US). Pakistan would be continuously monitored and report will be sent to the US after every six months. Only then the next installment of the KLB grant will be issued to Pakistan.

The issue here is what are those five departments for which Pakistan would be constantly under US monitoring? First and foremost is the nuclear department. Pakistan won’t be allowed to increase its nuclear capabilities and assets. It would be monitored whether any state or non-state actor is involved in any sort of nuclear proliferation. In any such case, Pakistan would be obliged to hand over any scientist (obviously including Dr. AQ Khan), any armed forces personnel, bureaucrat, or any politician, whosoever they are suspicious about. If Pakistan doesn’t do that, the package would be instantly halted.

Second department is Al-Qaeda.   America assumes that the Al-Qaeda leadership is in Baluchistan. Americans now want to attack on Quetta and other parts of Baluchistan with this point of KLB. If any thing makes a hurdle in this, then NOC won’t be issued.

Third department is terrorism. America and India believe that Lashkar-e-Taiba and Jaish-e-Muhammad are threatening for them. They want to eliminate them. America has even explicitly and bluntly mentioned to attack on Mureedkay, where Laskar-e-Taiba has their camp. Once KLB has been passed, Pakistan government would be bound to eliminate both of these groups.

Fourth department is to remove all those people in Pakistan’s armed forces and intelligence agencies, who are not favoring the USA, or in other words, not liked by the USA. So, if America points out any armed personnel, our government would be bound to remove that person immediately. In my personal opinion, this means that all the major posts in armed forces and all the promotions would under American control. Isn’t it ridiculous?

Fifth and last department would be that various American institutions would be allowed to work in Pakistan. They’ll do monitoring. Under the umbrella of ‘monitoring’ they will be able to target their hidden objectives. Even though the KLB hasn’t passed by Pakistan’s parliament yet, the Blackwater has already started their work. They have already started hiring local people and train them for their purpose. They certainly don’t like Pakistan being a nuclear power. Because it’s a threat to India and Israel. Their ultimate objective would most probably be to capture our nuclear related stuff.

America knew that they couldn’t do any thing by their selves. They already have badly stuck into Afghanistan quagmire. So, they chose this path of bribing and using our own people to be used for their objectives. How shameful is that the traitor government is happy to embrace all this.

It would have been lot better had America announce any Kerry-Sugar bill. Because we really need any thing like that. But this Kerry-Lugar bill is not acceptable for any patriotic national of Pakistan.
