Pakistan has badly been struck by suicide bombings and other unpeaceful events in the past many years. Infact a decade has gone in this drastic situation when nobody is sure that s/he will come back alive and intact while leaving their homes. When the body parts and flesh are picked from an attacked site, you cannot recognize whose parts are these. You don’t even have all the body parts to make the complete body for burial. It’s so common to hear people saying “ab to qabar bhi naseeb nahi”.
Suicide bombers have now enlarged their domain of attack by attacking educational institutions as well. After the 20th October twin attacks in International Islamic University Islamabad, educational institutions all over the country were temporarily closed. Certainly, it’s a dismal situation when your children and your youth cannot continue their education. Although, there was no other way to respond to that situation, but there has to be a proper plan to cater this menace. Institutions have been re-opened from 26th October, but parents are still confused whether to send their children or not.

Islamabad Police, in this context, came up with some research work regarding appearance of a suicide bomber. The Islamabad Police on Saturday released a research-based outlook on the behavioral pattern of a suicide bomber, when he intends to hit his target. The research, aimed at public information and guidance, includes an in-depth examination of the sketches of those involved in several suicide attacks in Islamabad. According to the conclusions of the team, a suicide bomber may be a young man, aged between 18 and 25 with a plump look because of wearing suicide jacket, containing explosives and ball bearings. He might be wearing new clothes and new shoes as well and having trimmed hair and beard. His eyes might be red from continuous sleeplessness. He often does not pay attention to anyone while going for a kill and moves straight towards his target. He may be fasting and reciting Quranic verses. The handler (the person who directs the suicide bomber about what to do and when to do) of the human bomb points out the target only 10 to 15 minutes before attack, thus giving the bomber a short time to accomplish the task. The police have appealed to the public for cooperation and information in tracing those involved in criminal activities. They have also appealed to the government employees, students, security personnel and other people to point out the suspects immediately for timely action. The entire police force has also been informed about the behavioral pattern of suicide bombers.

So, if you see any suspect, just hold him with hands and do not let him pull the trigger.
