Few days back while watching the program Jawab Deh with Col. Imam on Geo TV Network. I was shocked to know the details about the pushtons and afghans. Their life standards are so simple and they call them selves the son of mountains.
Let me tell you a little bit about Col. Imam. Brigadier Amir Sultan Tarar or best known as Colonel Imam is a former Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence operative and former Pakistani Consul General Herat. He is widely believed to have played a key role in the formation of the Taliban. It is reported that he served at the ISI’s Afghan bureau desk as a Brigadier.
he said in an interview with The Sunday Times:
“You can never win the war in Afghanistan,” said ‘Colonel Imam’, who ran a training programme for the Afghan resistance to the Soviet Union’s occupation from 1979 to 1989, then helped to form the Taliban. “I have worked with these people since the 1970s and I tell you they will never be defeated. Anyone who has come here has got stuck. The more you kill, the more they will expand,”

After this I was searching about War History of Pashtuns and I have seen this small documentary. I would like to share it with you, watch it and you will know about their lifestyle.
After watching this my personal opinion is that these Pashtuns are really sons of the mountain.
We Phathans the sons of Mountain.
We the Conquers of Bar-e-Sagheer Pak O Hind.
We the Eagles in the sky We the loins on Earth.
We the soldiers of Meerwais Nikka.
War is our hobby, Guns are our Ornaments,
Bravery is our identity, Boldness is in our blood.
We only know how to Win, We Prefer Death rather than surrending
