The first ten-wicket haul in a Test innings

England’s legendry bowler of old times, Jim Laker, took 10 for 53 against Australia at Old Trafford way back in 1956.

The first Test triple-century

England’s opener Andy Sandham scored 325 runs against West Indies in West Indies, back in 1930. This was the first triple century in Test cricket history.

First to 300 Test wickets

English bowler Fred Trueman was first one to achieve this when he passed 300 wicket mark against Australia in 1964.

The first 100-mph delivery

Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar, dubbed as Rawalpindi Express, broke the barrier of 100 mph while bowling in an ODI against New Zealand in Sharjah in 2002.
