Nokia X2: Music and 5 mega pixels Camera

Nokia X2 was presented in India, where it is expected to sell best. Since Nokia does not reported that the X2 model comes exclusively in the India, we assume that it will also available in selected countries in Europe.

Nokia X2 phone is a standard model, measuring 111 x 47 x 13.3 millimeters and weighs 81 grams with good battery. It seems to be a relatively thin and light mobile. Its battery is very good and could last for almost a month in standby mode and have a talk time up to over 13 hours.

The screen is 2.2 inches high and the solution reads at 240 x 320 pixels (QVGA). It can display up to 262,144 colors, which is slightly surprising, since even Nokia’s relatively cheap models tend to show up to 16.7 million colors.

The phone has particular stereo speakers, dedicated music keys and built-in FM radio. If you do not want to listen to music through your speakers, you can use a common headphones set of 3.5-millimeter or you can connect Bluetooth 2.1 with A2DP. The phone takes microSD cards up to 16 gigabytes.

The camera is 5 mega pixels, but again have been spared functions. It lacks for auto focus, which is essential for good pictures. Fortunately there is a small photo lamp, which can also be used when recording video clips.

X2 is based on the S40 operating system, with a good range of built in services. There is direct access to Facebook from the start screen and you can keep track of chats and e-mails with Nokia’s messaging. Ovi Large client is also pre-installed so that you can download applications and games for your phone.

Nokia expects that the model will be available in the second quarter of 2010 at a cost of around $ 800 with taxes and subsidies.
