Does PPP want Five Mayors in Karachi?

Supporting the re-merger of towns and villages located at long distance from the main city of Hyderabad, Makhdoom Amin Fahim demanded that PPP should not succumb to pressure of MQM and on their contention the city of Karachi should be divided in a number of districts such as five or four. Amin Fahim has forgotten the colonial system of Tehsildari and Talukadari has been abandoned that waders liked.

People in former colonial style former Tehsils of Hyderabd are happy that in 2005 Arbab Rahim the then CM of Sindh had established district offices in localities nearest to them. It appears that Waderas of PPP are eying for taxes paid by Sindh Urban population for diverting to them to their own pockets or rural constituencies, where power theft and private jails of feudal lords are located and poor haris are exploited to work at paltry wages. Waders employ small force of armed men mostly having illegal arms of prohibited bore.

If one examines the lifestyle of these feudal lords visa viz the taxes paid by them and the assets declared to the Government, one simply wonder how they get elected to the legislative bodies.
