According to the latest political philosophy of Pakistan, the Parliament is Supreme, and consequently the members of this Supreme Body may be anything but mortal beings, above any human shortcomings. But recent events, like for example possessing fake degrees by some such super human beings, have proved that these people are rather below the normal human beings.
Possessing fake degrees are simple case of fraud and forgery, and are definitely punishable under Pakistan Penal Code. It does not matter whether the law now requires a person to be a graduation degree holder to be eligible for the membership of parliament or not, and whether people’s sweet will selects a non-graduate as their representative, the fact is, some (ex-)members of this Supreme Body (!?) are guilty of forgery, accepted their guilt, and have been pleaded guilty. So, why are not they proceeded against according to the law of the land? Why were they again put up to be the representatives of the people? Can anybody with a fake degree have a simple job in even a government department?
I think, burying all other debates and arguments on such ‘supreme human beings’, somebody should proceed against these fraudsters according to law. The parties, and the party leaders, who are publicly carrying with these fraudsters, should also be proceeded against for conniving in and publicly supporting this legally punishable crime of forgery.
I don’t also understand, why the universities’ whose documents were forged are sitting idle? Are these universities also involve in these crimes?
