Apple has released Java updates for both Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard and Mac OS X 10.6 Snow Leopard.

Common to Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 2 Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 7 is that they improve interoperability, security and stability. Before installing the two updates, close all browsers and Java applications.

Java for Mac OS X 10.5 Update 7 updates J2SE 5.0 to 1.5.0_24 and Java SE 6 1.6.0_20 to 64-bit Macs.

Java for Mac OS X 10.6 Update 2 updates Java SE 6 to 1.6.0_20.
