Begging in Pakistan

“Allah K naam pe baba: Teri umar me barkat ho”, “Teri taraqi ho babu”; we often listen these words or or same other words like these while going out, whether in markets, on roads, in parks etc. Now a day, mostly beggars use emotional words or pray to attain the attention of passers by. And in our society where every single person is grieved due to hardships of his life try to get rid off this situation and he regards the beggars in a sense that might their prays result in his favour. In this way we ourselves are the well known promoters of beggars.

Begging has become a curse of society. If we critically observe our surroundings then it would be clear that most needy people are present in disguise. These are the actual ones who need to be helped. There are certain such examples in which we can see that if someone needs money for his daughter marriage then other will be looking for his bread n butter. Similarly it is obvious that most of our youth could not get higher qualification due to menace of poverty. Coming to the topic, it is worth important to discourage the begging and beggars community should be taught to earn by themselves so that they cam live a stable life and also share their responsibility in the development of country. Question is how it would happen.

Beggars live in huts near a metropolitan area so that their profession can grow. There is no trend of getting education in their children for that they will become a beggar one day. Their living standard is nothing. They wore old and dirty clothes so s that to attract rich. It is duty of both the government and society to influence this community in bringing them in streamline of country. Firstly they should be taught to earn by themselves, their children be educated and finally they all be influence to hate this curse and start a respectable life.

If a young boy who is spreading his hands to others for pennies realizes this insult then it would be turning point of his life. When he will earn with his own hands he will get an inner satisfaction and become more responsible for him as well as for his family. Similarly when their children get education they will get jobs in turn. In this way they could enhance their living standards by living in concrete houses as compare to the huts. They will get better food for themselves, better clothing, and basic health facilities and finally become a civilized community.

Once begging is minimized in our country it would result in minimizing the dirt of society, enhancing the civilized way of livelihood and develo0pment of country.

Keeping above in view, one should kept in mind that begging is a curse not the beggars. They are human beings and could be turn into better human beings through education and guidance.

BEGGING SHOULD BE HATED NOT THE BEGGARS
