Being a student of COMSATS Institute of Information Technology, I proudly said about the development steps taken by COMSATS are very appreciative. This time COMSATS Institute of Information Technology has launched Mobile Innovation Contest in Pakistan. The aim is to take as initiative to support mobile innovation in Pakistan. This Contest is Called Best Mobile Innovation in Pakistan (BMIP) Contest 2010 is open for every Pakistani to launch“Made in Pakistan” innovation related to the mobile industry and technologies.
According to their official press release:
It can be new technology, concept, product or business model; related to networks, devices, connectivity, software, hardware, content, applications, usage, mobile marketing, mobile payments, education or social issues.
The winner of this contest will receive cash prize of $10,000 USD (Approx 850,000/- PKR). Furthermore, the innovations that will being awarded would be taken into an further establishment process like creating new company around the innovations, creating new telecommunication or information technology companies in Pakistan.
