Imagine Cup is the program launched by Microsoft, which is open to participate for the students around the world. Imagine Cup is a serious challenge that draws serious talent, and the competition is intense. The contest spans a year, beginning with local, regional and online contests whose winners go on to attend the Worldwide Finals held in a different location every year.
This was all about the Imagine Cup, but the good news for us is that a team of five students named PAKTech from UET Lahore are going to contest for Imagine Cup Worldwide Finals in Warsaw, Poland. No doubt Pakistani people has talent to beat others.
This is not the First time for PAKTech to contest in Imagine Cup, PAKTech already won Imagine Cup Pakistan for their Multi-touch device dubbed as “Mango Touch” beating other 33 other projects by more than 2100 students from 34 cities and 58 universities submitted that were aimed for Healthcare, Education, Gaming and Mobility solutions.
University of Engineering & Technology, Lahore (UET) team lifted the Imagine Cup – Pakistan to compete in the Imagine Cup worldwide finals in Warsaw, Poland.
We have developed an economical multitouch surface i.e. having the ability to detect single and multiple fingers simultaneously. Single touch can operate the windows mouse and through multitouch we can perform various collaborative and interactive work for instance improving the quality of primary education through interactive courses, inculcating the spirit of learning among our youth.
