Another terrible decision to ruin Pakistan’s image

Shahid Afridi, playing his first test match in 4 years, and as a new test captain suddenly felt that he does not have the right patience for this format of the game. The announcement came after Pakistan’s 150 runs defeat against Australia.

Shahid Afridi got out cheaply in both the innings. One always expect much from the captain, and especially when he is the team’s most experienced player. He does not seem to be in any mood whatsoever to play test cricket, but I think he needs time to adjust to the test match conditions, rather than jumping in to the conclusion within four days. Any responsible captain would think ten times before taking a decision that can ruin the course of the game, especially in the middle of such a long and important tour.

PCB, on the other hand, seems to be short of  ideas when it comes to find the right person for the captaincy. I still believe that Shahid Afridi has the potential, yet he needs to think and act maturely.

Last but not the least, we need people to think about Pakistan’s image, and pride, rather than being individual.

Geo Pakistan!!
