Are we in right frame of mind?

We saw unending debates on sacking of superior judiciary by the ‘government’. We saw debates on restoration of that judiciary by another ‘government’, called itself ‘democratic government’. We saw huge debates on NRO issues, and Supreme Court’s stand on NRO. We are now seeing continuous and seemingly interminable debates on fake degrees of exalted members of national assembly and provincial assemblies.

I don’t understand why do we do so much debates on any and every issue? Why cannot we naturally agree to something which can be generally acceptable to majority people? Why there should be so much debates on generally agreeable issues? If we cannot accept majority’s view, then can we call ourselves fit for democracy? This is really intriguing that, we have enough time, energy and willingness to continuously debate on even highly despicable acts like that of of fraud and forgery, and that is also by people called themselves “supreme” because of being member of a the “supreme (!?) body” of the country! Are we people all in the right frame of mind?

  1. Arif N. Khan says:

Such ‘soshas’ are released and browbeaten to divert attention of the people from real issues of terrorism, inflation, power and fuel shortages and of course corruption and fraud and election of dishonest people to legislative bodies.

Our leaders and Ulema have not been able to correct the behavior of our people in wake of a terrorist attacks. Giving strike calls and holding rallies disrupting normal routines. Terrorists want to destabilize Pakistan and strikes and damage to public property by protesting mob is like fulfilling the objectives of the enemies of Islam and Pakistan and Islamic bomb

Condemnation of attack on Data Darba has been forceful and enemies of Islam must have watched gleefully the success of their plan due to poor intelligence and security and the strike calls and rallies.
