During last one year over 1000 people in Karachi have been killed by the terrorists, snipers and suicide bombers Hardly 5% of them are said be Pakhtoons. The allegations of massacre of Pakhtoon is false. Over 100 times Pakhtoons have been killed in Khyber Pakhtoonkhaw.
In the political skirmishes over such things as flag installation, chalking provocative slogans some 136 people have been killed and overwhelming majority of them is from MQM, PPP, JI and some 26 Pakhtoons.
What is surprising is that the ministers and senators from KP i.e. NWFP province are issuing foolish statements over Karachi that’ tantamounts to meddling into affairs of Sindh whereas the law and order situation in their own province is precarious.
On the other hand MQM has not shown the restraint that is preached by their top command and their minsters have been accusing ANP of disturbing peace of Karachi on the orders of their foreign masters.
Similarly the provocative statements of ANP leaders of Sindh are not keeping with the political maturity and wisdom that leaders like Wali Khan and Sarhadi Gandhi Bacha Khan used to display.However, it is nice to note that Rehamn Malik has been able to satisfy them the police will arrest and try the murders and miscreants without fear and favor to any political party or ethnic group.
