This refers to the article titled “Exit of Govt Four Possible Options” by Mr. Zahid Malik carried by the Pakistan Observer, on its issue of July 5, 2010. At one place the writer says, “I strongly believe that every elected Government should necessarily complete its constitutional tenure of five years”.
No sir, I do not at all agree with the writer. There is no constitutional right of a constitutional government to complete full five years of a constitutional tenure. In a democratic setup, a government always remains in tenterhook of loosing the power either through internal changes or through general elections called anytime earlier. This threat of facing the public anytime, keeps the government on check, and compell it to deliver on its election manifesto. This is the beauty of democracy – the facing of music for non-delivery, and not the compromise and adjustments with elements of diverse opiniuons, as is claimed by this present government. Our political experts and commentators should also be mindful of these painstaking mechanism of democracy.
I cannot also subscribe to Mr. Malik’s unbounded eulogy of our queer Prime Minister, when says in the last lines that, “Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani …. has carved out a position of influence, respect and personal rapport with all stakeholders ….”. “Persnal rapport” – may be, but much more is desired from the leader of the house, the chief executive of the faultering country, than just dealy dallying with all and sundry only to perpituate a non-functional government.

The Need of Alliance of A United Muslim League.
The original successor of Pakistan is Muslim league which is founded in 1906 then as the time passed this party splits into various Muslim Sub-Muslim Leagues like PMLN, PMLQ, PMLZ, PLMJ, PMLF Awami Muslim league and some others in the result of some controversies, military dictatorships and some other “hidden” reasons. Today most of people know about these “hidden” reasons due to which the Muslim League is divided.
Pakistan is going through the worst and most critical situation of history. Where most of things are not going well, Law and order, corruption, un-employment, poverty, deficiency of fundamental needs are the most important problems today. These are the issues which are not solvable in one day but they are increased too much in these two and half years. As compared to this if we see the statistics of the previous regime we will see the previous regime was much betters then this. Government is not visible any where in country. Pakistan is hading towards first position in corruption. And many things are going in wrong directions due to wrong policies of PPP. So the government of people’s party is most corrupt government in the history of Pakistan. There is no dignity of Pakistan in this regime and PPP is responsible for this entire situation which Pakistan is facing.
It doesn’t means that the members of PML are angles but comparatively they are much better then PPP. Muslim league is the party of a greatest leader Quaid-e-Azam. Pakistan Muslim League made Pakistan and either they belongs from any sub-party group at least they are not anti Pakistan and they can handle the matters. This is the time to combine all the Muslim leagues. Muslim league has a biggest vote bank but there vote bank is divided in elections due to divided sub-parties.
Muslim league always saves and supported Pakistan in every crises and in every curtail time. The big stones in the way of alliance of Muslim leagues are Chaudary Pervaiz Elahi and Nawaz Shareef.. On the other hand the Quaid of Pakistan Muslim League functional, former prime minster Mir Zafar-Ullah Khan Jamali and senior leader of like minded (Hum Khail) group Saleem Saif-Ullah are playing very important and leading role in the alliance of Muslim Leagues. Every Sub-party leadership should show flexibility because in politics the doors of dialog and negotiations are not closed ever and should leave personalized politics.
If the leaderships of Muslim leagues will take some positive steps we should hope that positive results will appear and some positive changes will come and united Muslim league will save Pakistan InshaAllah.
