Such is Life – Airblue 202

In the Memory of All Those who died in the AirBlue Plane Crashed on July 28, 2010 in Islamabad.

You said I’m leaving but you never said forever,
You said goodbye but we didn’t know it was forever and ever,
You were gone before we knew it,
And God alone knows how we all misconstrue it,

This morning you left,
Little did we know that morning,
Would turn into mourning,
And God would adjourning,

In life you were loved dearly,
In death you will be loved resplendently,
In our hearts you will hold a place,
Creating a void with such a large space,

A million times you will be missed,
A million times your pictures will be kissed,
If love alone could have saved you,
The road would never have been paved for you,

It broke our hearts to lose you,
But you didn’t go alone,
A part of us went with you,
For this is the day God took you home.

Our hearts will ache with sadness,
and many tears will flow.
What it meant to lose you,
No one will ever know.

Precious memories will have to do,
With a silent tears we will forgo you,
Yet nothing will be the same,
Till the time we meet again,

Have no fear my friends,
For the gates of Heaven are around the bend,
God is calling as he intends,
Bringing us all together at the end.
