Fifth columnists and agents of Hindu Zionist cabal must be laughing at the boasting of Sindhi Interior Minister Zulfiqar Mirza that his hands are tied due to the policy of reconciliation otherwise he would have eliminated the elements behinds target killing and terrorism in Karachi. So far 256 political activists belong to different parties including MQM, PPP, ANP and JI etc. have been killed out of which about 70% or 135 are said to be belonging to MQM. During last one year, over one thousand people have been killed by the terrorists in different attacks including suicide bombing.
Sindh police showed miserable performance in preventing terrorist attacks during Muharram and they have been unable to contain the increase in street crimes and robberies, land grabbing on government and private property, drug and arms smuggling and other crimes including human trafficking.
There has been alarming increase in kidnapping for ransom in Norther Sindh and power theft throughtou the province remain unchecked. According to Dawn News channel in the Liyari gang war, some of the criminals have been in PPPs peace committee and police is reluctant to take action against them..
Political reconcilation does not mean condoning murders and crimes. Police must be encouraged to arrest the culprits without fear and ensure supremacy of law.
