Talking about the universities entry tests…specially the engineering Universities in Pakistan…the only prospectus cost is about 1500/- pak rupees…why we should pay so much money for each univeristy just for attending the entry test?
NUST+GIK+Air+Bahria+FAST+COMSATS+UET = almost PKR 10,000/- rupees just for entry tests
Its really not fair to the students…plus the dates of the entry tests are so arranged that most of the students are black mailed by not admitting them if they dont submit there fee in appropiate time.
so the problem is in front of you and i will suggest some solutions for this problem.
1. HEC should arrange its own combined entry test for all the universities(including private universities)
2. This entry test should be after the final result of Fsc Final year students. so that good prepation time is given to the students plus merit can be made according to the Fsc marks.
3. top students from the entry test should be admiited to the top ranked university of pakistan ie NUST. For Example top 1000 students from the merit should be placed in nust and after 1000 2nd ranked university should be filled with students according to the merit.
In this way we can save our money and time too…and we can raise our standard of education too as universities will try to improve their ranks to get in the competition.

Why they don’t get NTS on board…
yes HEC should conduct its own nts type test..which should be compatible with all HEC recognised universities.
it will be helpul to the students as there is a SAT test for univeristies abroad just like SAT test there should one be in Pakistan too.
I strongly support about multiple test given by student and still he is not sure about his success even though one who cleared GAT/NTS SAT ,his application is rejected due to 2nd test condut by the university.This all is very offensive.There should be only one exam/test which refer student to be qualified or not.
The most stupid thing in pakistan are taking place..even education is hitwith the educational Qabza groups.There is ni such test in world.The only purpose behind is to stop students from gaining degrees and ask for jobs.Secondly, entry tests are to discourage hard working students and keep them away from colleges and universities so that to protect those who get degrees and Fsc marks through illegal means in examination halls and through bribing the examiners, therefore it can be rightly said that the thief is defending thief.If government does not have jobs, it shouldn’t restrain students from applying to institutions for admissions.It is against natural justice to put a person on trial for same offense which he had been punished.Education in Pakistan has become a punishment and either the govt should end taking exams or should stop entry test. why stupid law makers are playing havoc with education.where should students go who have got 59.60 % marks? Why you lawmakers have different criteria for general public students and your kith and kins.Pakistan was made by poor people and you are just pushing their children from education. down with you.
The most common thing becomes in our country is that wasting of time i.e do not waste ur time uselessely if u will care it,it will give u a benefit.
