Apple ready to fix the security hole in iOS4

Apple has a nifty ready for the vulnerability, inter alia, used in the new jailbreak for 4.0.1 IOS. An update is imminent.

Apple has already made a fix for the vulnerability, we mentioned the other day in connection with the new jailbreak for 4.0.1 IOS.

Security hole allows to run arbitrary code in PDF files embedded in websites. Something to say among other things can be used to jailbreak his iPhone with, but also give access to hackers with less noble motives.

Security hole will be fixed in a future update. A spokesman for Apple says that

“we are aware of this and we have already developed a solution that will come in a future update. He will however not elaborate on when this update is released”.

There are therefore two options, either come Apple with a quick update to 4.0.2 to fix this alone, or wait for the 4.1 that has been in beta for quite some time and lligevel is very close to being ready, since there was only one week between the last previews for developers.
