According to the Financial Times, India wants to “intercept and monitor” the encrypted communications service Skype and Blackberry. Indeed, after the victory of Saudi Arabia on Blackberry, India also wants to play “hard”.
India’s threat to lock services for reasons of national security. But India went further, and decides to go after Google andSkype. A meeting was held July 12, with the aim to examine possible solutions to “intercept and monitor” the encrypted communications.
“There was a consensus to discuss solutions for several types of services. Among these services, there are Blackberry, Skype and Google. It was decided to first tackle the problem of the BlackBerry and then to other services .
The Indian authorities have given until August 31 to RIM to provide the means to read the encrypted communications of the BlackBerry, as the pretext that terrorists use the means of telecommunication to prepare attacks like those in Mumbai who had killed 166 people in November 2008.
Vertigo for RIM, for whom an interruption of BlackBerry service would affect one million users in India on a market estimated at 41 million units!

Well, India is just trying to show that they are the coming supreme power. They are just dreaming. Saudi Arabia blocked the Blackberry services because terrorism & militancy was the fact behind it.
As Saudi Arabia is the only country in this world in which the crime rate is too low. But India is a country with infinite lists of crime. It can’t handled the situation of crime, now they want access to Blackberry, Skype & Google.
Indians are sick!!!
