Karachi Situation and the Leaders of Banned Parties active in Politics

The Interior Minister declared that the banned organizations Sipah Sahaba and another Pro Taliban group is involved in the murder of MQM MPA Reza Haider. Soon after his murder the assassins took the task of start riots in different parts of Karachi by gunning down people and torching cars, buses, shops, petrol pumps and public and private property.

ANP leaders both in Karachi and NWFP started propagating that only Pakhtoons are being killed whereas MQM started accusing that ANP’s protected elements are involved in arson, loot and murder by firing at residential areas of different localities including Aurangi the constituency of the slain MQM leaders where from Aurangi Hills the firing continued for hours forcing people to migrated to safer locations.

It seems police and rangers have little resources and their slow action invited sharp criticism of MQM of bias on their part. The order by Interior minister of Sindh was issued to shoot and kill the miscreants. In a talk show on a TV channel Maulana Ludhianvi of the banned Sipah Sahaba the charges of violence on them are false. He said that his support was given to ANP in provincial assembly and also to PML (N)

The interesting comment made by Maulana Ludhianvi was that why his organization has been banned whereas ANP is also a banned organization. It was banned by Late Mr. Bhutto as it was named National Awami Party lobbying for independent Pakhtoonistan. Early this month Jamal Leghari had disclosed that Asgandyar Wali had recieved foreign
aid to defeat MMA. MQM accuses leaders of ANP fanning ethnic hatred and lawlessness by protecting durg, arms, land and other mafias.

In answer to questions of Dr. Shahid Masood the moderator of talk show the minister of religious affairs said that it all right for the leaders of banned organizations to take part in politics if they themselves are not involved in illegal activities. The question that was not asked is that if these leaders of banned organizations have been questioned about the terrorist network and how they are financed and who are the members in militant groups and where they live and what are their occupations and what are their links in different parts of the country and abroad. One can only hope that it was done by the intelligence agencies and the facts have been hidden by them or charges were not found tenable..

Why these leaders are free to indulge in politics is still perplexing and more perplexing is how the militants of banned organizations remain at large in Pakistan.

Hmm . . . The very first thing is the assassination of Raza Miraz … i think that it’s very much common that whatever goes wrong in our country, we straight forward start blaming those terrorist people without going in any deep details … well it’s not hidden that how many times MQM has been involved in creating destabilization in Karachi…but it’s not right to blame MQM … there may have been many other aspects … it’s upto the viewer that how he/she analyze the situation … Now secondly the comment of minister of religious affairs that the leading people of the organizations that has been banned in Pakistan due to terrorist suspects should participate in politics if they are not involved in such terrorist activities … WOW it’s indeed ridiculous … that if a people leading such terrorist organization would not be involved in any terrorist activity … secondly i dont think so that any politician in this country is totally pure … think about some other aspects also … thnx … God bless u Pakistan …
    Pakistan Zindabaad …
