UK media disfigures Pakistani flag

It should be abundantly clear that the British government and media have commenced a campaign against Pakistan both at the diplomatic and propaganda levels. Prime Minister David Cameron fired the first salvo deliberately choosing India so as to have the proper impact in Pakistan. Our state, seeming to wallow in abuse at the hands of the White Man, pussyfooted around these abusive remarks and shamefully President Zardari continued with his private visit to the UK while the Foreign Office woke up only days later to summon the British High Commissioner – when it realised the public outcry was getting stronger. Not that any of this mattered since the British Prime Minister was totally unrepentant and, just to make sure the Pakistanis got the point, he reiterated that he meant what he had said and was neither going to take his words back or express any regret over them. Now where does Foreign Minister Qureshi stand, given how he insisted the Cameron remarks were a mere “slip of the tongue”?

UK media disfigures Pakistani flagFollowing Cameron, The Independent (clearly not so independent of UK government links!) newspaper has now seen fit to distort the Pakistani flag in a way that clearly insults the nation. Would they dare to do something like this to the Indian flag? This is a repeat of the blasphemous cartoons targeting Islam in the absurd claims of “freedom of expression”, only this time Pakistan is the target. Everyone knows the national flag symbolises the nation and the British media, by disfiguring the flag, has assaulted the state and nation of Pakistan. How many more insults will our leaders compel us to bear? Is there no end to how much abuse we are meant to take in the post-9/11 era?

Well indeed i am shocked that we are still stuck in that 9/11 era. Well Israel is country that was came into being on the basis of Jewish religious view and Pakistan was also came into being as an output product of Islamic beliefs. So, collectively both countries are based on their religious point of views but it’s shockingly amazing that Israel don’t like the religious base of Pakistan and wants to damage it. Well it’s a fact that even after passing 63 years of independence, we the Pakistanis have not get rid of that “GOORA” mentality. And secondly we have never tried to become a nation. There is clear separation amongst society upon different views. Currently Pakistan lacks badly when it comes to leadership …
But rite now first we have to educate our people in order to get them out of that psychological influence of west and after that bring them on a single one platform by providing them a doctrine which would be more or less accepted by every age group and thought group.
I am afraid that revolution is becoming mandatory for the contemporary Pakistan.
Always pray for the prosperity and success of Pakistan.
    Pakistan Zindabaad.

It has been my firm belief over the past many years that our leaders are agents of the Empire and that their behaviour reflects this. Instead of showing that they are on the side of their nation under such circumstances, they are always there to defend the shameless and brazen statements of our foreign rulers. It was Shah Mahmood Qureshi who once commented that it will be “harsh” to criticize America for carrying out drone attacks on our borders and killing innocent civilians. The killing of your civilians by Americans through violating your airspace is ok but your protesting against it will be “harsh”. Now the shameless Minister for Foreign Affairs once again tried to defend the British Premier by saying that his statement was a slip of the tongue while the Prime Minister is himself saying that he won’t take his words back and apologize since he was speaking the truth.
Above all else, the visit of the President Zardari and his smiling picture with the British Prime Minister which is published in the daily Express on 6th of August, 2010 reminds one of Shakespeare who said,”One can smile and smile and be a villain.” It is so very unfortunate that the people of Pakistan have to tolerate the likes of Zardaris and Sharifs who have no sense of national honour in them.
The fate of this nation will not change until and unless the people realize who their real enemy is, it is not America or UK but their own so-called leaders.

Same on these shameless leaders like Zardari, Gillani and their cronies in the government. Same to the opposition leaders and Sharifs. We require a revolution and peoples government and disapprove this sham democracy which is other face of hypochricy. they all are hypochrites of highest order. PAKISTAN ZINDA BAD……….Pakistan armed forces painda bad.
