Yesterday my friend asked me to bring Dhuwan Drama CD from market but I was unable to get it because there are very few PTV’s dramas lovers, and I guess most of them are in abroad. If you are one of those PTV Classic Dramas’ lover? And you end up with no option to watch them, as you are too busy to buy a CD or DVD, or maybe because DVDs of those Classic PTV hits are not available anymore…!

Pakistanica.com is a website has got plenty of PTV Dramas’ collection, and hopefully the base will increase with time. All Dramas are divided in different parts, what we used to call them Qist (urdu), or episodes.

You can see a list of the PTV dramas available on this site, after you click on a drama title, you will be presented with all the episodes plus a new section will appear in the sidebar with a list of all the episodes/parts of the current drama. As all the videos available online is in .flv format so don’t expect HD quality, but still quality is considerable and above it its watchable. Pakistan defeated India in an important match of Champion’s Trophy 2009. Pakistan has already qualified for the semi final but what’s more interesting is that Indian cricket team is looking at Pakistani cricket team for their chances to stay in the tournament.

Indian team is being criticized by Indian media same like they were criticized in the Twenty 20 world cup 2009. But this time very Interesting I’ve added two videos below one is about the pre match comments (which I think necessary to post) and the second one is after the match. Check out the following video an Indian Channel.

Now you know what Indians think about their heros and now watch what they say about their heros :P Continue reading »

Geo TV presents this beautiful emotional song on August 14, 2009 on the Independence day celebration of Pakistan. I must say this is great song portraying the current picture of Pakistan. To download this song follow following procedure of How to Download FaceBook/YouTube Videos FREE? I suggest if But if Geo could show the photographs of Army men in civil dress, and then overall impact on audience would be that general public realize that Army is not bad, but the personalities.

GEO TV made an adaptation of “Dekh terey Sansaar ki haalat kya ho gayi Bhagwaan” As they cant use Bhagwaan here … they changed and arranged the lyrics fit to our system and environment. It is the ninth death anniversary of Nazia Hassan today (August 13), but she is still remembered by all of the music lovers even after almost a decade to her death. Nazia, also known as The Queen of Pop and by the name Sweetheart of Pakistan, was born on April 03, 1965 in Karachi.

Nazia was the first British Asian girl (of Pakistani origin) to make an impact on Bollywood, apart from altogether sweeping the Pakistani pop scene.  She was the first real pop star of the Indian music.

Nazia came into the limelight with her breakthrough Indian film (Qurbani) song “Aap Jaisa Koi Meri Zindagi Main Aae”. The song was followed by another hit “Disco Deewane” which took the young generation of the sub-continent by storm. It was like icing on the cake when  Nazia and her brother Zohaib did electrifying songs on the Indian film “Star’. India’s famous magazine, India Today voted Nazia among 50 people who changed the face of India. It certainly is a great proud for Pakistan. Nazia’s success could be measured with an amazing fact that when Lata Mangeshkar ruled the charts, she was the one who outdid her both in terms of sale and popularity. She became the only serious threat to great Lata Ji.

Nazia was a true Pakistani. Her sincerity with the country can be seen when she turned down the offer of song “Made In India”, for the reason that it may not offend the emotions of Pakistanis.

Nazia Hassan and Zohaib Hassan, who formed a perfect duo and among the pioneers of pop and disco music in Pakistan, released their first album ‘Young Tarang’. The volume contained famous songs like “Dum Dum Dee Dee Dum Dum”. They, along with Alamgir and Muhammad Ali Shehki, could be called the trend-setters of disco music in Pakistan. Continue reading »
