CM lauds MOL Pakistan for its Successful Operations in KP



PESHAWAR:  A high-level delegation of MOL Pakistan Oil & Gas Company B.V. headed by Ali Murtaza Abbas, MOL Group Regional Advisor (Middle East, Africa & Pakistan) called on the Chief Minister KP, Pervez Khattak here on Thursday at CM House and discussed MOL Pakistan’s ongoing operations in Karak, Kohat and Hangu.

The CM lauded and acknowledged MOL Pakistan for its successful journey in exploration and production sector and invited the company to further its investment in the province. The CM praised Ali Murtaza Abbas for his tireless efforts to work with the provincial government and the local community.

Ali Murtaza Abbas briefed the CM about the MOL Group’s subsidiary MOL Pakistan’s work to bridge the energy gap in the country. Mr Abbas suggested that the government should encourage more investment in the E&P sector of the province by making the policies more investor friendly. MOL Pakistan remains the only multinational company that operates in the challenging KP.

Mr Abbas told the CM that MOL Pakistan along with OGDCL made the landmark Khushalgarh bridge on the mighty river indus. Similarly countless schools, drinking schemes were made by MOL Pakistan to better the lives of the local community. MOL Pakistan also holds eye camps, sports tournaments and events for the handicapped. In 2005 earthquake MOL Group donated US$500,000 for the earthquake that badly hit KP.
