Today we will discuss how you can install or uninstall apps on your android smartphone! There are two ways by which an application can be installed or uninstalled in the Android OS:
How to Install and Uninstall Apps on Android OS
1. Using the Google Play Store
When you enter the menu of your Android OS, you will see the icon of Google Play Store having a play sign on it. When you click it, you will see all the featured apps available. You can navigate to enter any category that you prefer or you can also use the top bar to search the name of the app you are looking for.
After finding the app, click on the install button and it will be automatically downloaded to your phone and installed. You can follow the similar procedure for uninstalling the app as well.Remember that this method works only if you are online.
2. Installing and Uninstalling the Apps Offline
The second method of installing the app includes using an APK file. Every app has an APK file that can be downloaded from the internet. When you get the file in your phone, you just have to tap on it and the installation procedure will start. An icon for this app will then be automatically added to the menu.
Now if you want to uninstall this app, you will open the menu and see a pen shaped edit sign on top left corner of the screen. When you tap on it, all the apps that can be uninstalled will develop a cross sign on them. Now when you tap any app it will get uninstalled after asking for confirmation once.
